💡 This page helps you understand our perks and benefits, and our thinking behind them!

${\color{4b4897}\LARGE\textsf{What are perks and benefits?}}$
This a collection of all the nice things you get for working at Beauhurst that aren’t salary or bonus or our culture. The difference between a perk and a benefit is a little arbitrary so we’ve lumped them all together.
${\color{4b4897}\LARGE\textsf{How do we decide what perks and benefits to provide?}}$
Our perks and benefits should help make the company even better. They should be attractive and appealing to prospective applicants (you!) and to our existing employees. They should help ensure that everyone stays as happy and healthy as possible while working here, and ultimately help everyone to be the best version of themselves.
We regularly review and update our offering based on a combination of what our employees tell us they’d like us to provide and what we spot other companies offering. We sadly can’t offer absolutely everything that everyone asks for so we prioritise the things that we think provide the greatest value for the company relative to their cost.

💡 We have a list of things that we’d like to come back and add at some point – please do ask us about these during your interview process!

Options – AKA a stake in the company 🍰 🥩
- Our options scheme is offered to all permanent employees. It enables you to share in the growth of the company’s value by giving you the right to buy Beauhurst shares in the future at a pre-agreed and discounted price.
- Each year we also grant performance-based options which multiply the options you earned over the previous year by between 0% and 200%, depending on how well you performed.
Coaching & training – helping you grow grow grow 📈
- We have two executive/leadership coaches 🧠 who are available to all managers and heads of department. They’re really brilliant resources to help work through any current challenges, identify and support area of professional development, and help lift your head towards longer term goals.
- If there’s ever a training course 👩🏽🎓 you want to go on, an event you want to attend, or any learning materials you need, please let your manager or head of department know and (presuming it seems vaguely sensible) we’ll be delighted to pay for it!
- We have increasingly large libraries in both offices that you can browse and borrow from, but we’ll also buy you any (vaguely work related) books you want to read 📚
Counselling & well-being – making sure you’re looked after 🤗
- To help ensure that everyone is well looked after through everything that life throws at us, we have four counsellors/therapists 👩🏼🦰 that we’ve carefully selected and who are available to help you whenever you need – all paid for by the company, of course!
- We provide well-being baskets 🧺 in all the toilets in both offices to help anyone out if they’re ever caught short. These contain tampons/pads/liners, deodorant, make-up wipes, moisturiser, anti-histamines, lozenges, and suncream.
- Every winter we pay for everyone to get their winter flu jab 💉 to reduce the chance of you being struck down by something miserable in what’s already a pretty bleak time of year!
Railcards & travel loans – saving you ££ while going green 🌳
- We’re really keen for people to take the train – whether that’s into work, between our two offices, or instead of driving somewhere at the weekend. So we buy everyone a railcard 🚆 – 16-25, 26-30, or Network, depending on your age – which saves you 33% on trains and the tube. Simple!
- We also offer all permanent employees an interest-free loan 🚇 to buy an annual season ticket as this means you save a fair amount vs buying daily or weekly passes.
- If you plan to cycle any leg of your journey to work, you can buy a brand new bike with your pre-tax salary via our cycle scheme, saving between 25% and 50% vs the normal price. You can also pay in monthly instalments, so a bike that was previously £600 will only set you back c.£35 a month for a year.
Bucket loads of events – providing fun for everyone 🥳
- We organise six big social events for the whole company each year, and every team organises their own one as well every 4 months.
- There are also loads of other smaller events going on the whole time, organised by people across the company. These include football games, painting and baking tutorials, yoga and exercise classes, quizzes, board games evenings, movie nights, wine tasting, and much much more.
- We also have regular internal “lunch & learns” alongside Q&As with interesting people in the high-growth company space, such as founders, investors, and advisors.
Enhanced parental leave – supporting you through an exciting time 🐣
- We want to support people through having children while working at Beauhurst. Welcoming a newcomer to the family is always really exciting, but can also be a little stressful…
- So we offer enhanced parental leave for both primary and secondary caregivers to help make things as easy as possible.
- For more details what exactly we offer, please don’t hesitate to ask our recruitment team.
